The second round of talks between the two commanders of the two countries was held yesterday to ease the tension between India and China on the Kalwan border. The Indian Army said the talks, which lasted for about 12 hours, were creative.

The military has explained that there is a consensus between the two sides on the withdrawal of troops at the border and that there is an ongoing dialogue on the withdrawal of troops from the disputed areas in the eastern Ladakh border.

In the meantime, Army Chief General Naravane left for Delhi by air. There he will stay for two days to study the preparations of the forces and negotiate between the two countries.
