Corona reaches new peak 5,849 victims in one day in Tamil Nadu: 74 dead

In Tamil Nadu, 5,849 people were diagnosed with corona in a single day today. This brings the total number of victims to 1,86,492. 

Shocking corona casualties:

In Tamil Nadu today, 74 people died in a single day. Addition of 444 missing deaths from other causes from March 1 to June 10 as corona deaths. Thus 518 fatalities were officially recorded today. It is noteworthy that out of those 444, 443 died in Chennai alone. The death toll has risen to 3,144 so far.

Increasing number of healers:

In Tamil Nadu, 4,910 people have recovered in a single day. A total of 1,31,583 people have been reported to have recovered so far. Currently 51,765 people are receiving treatment. 

Corona vulnerability - Gender wise:

Of the 1,86,492 confirmed cases in Tamil Nadu so far, 1,13,319 are males, 73,150 are females and 23 are of the third sex. According to the Tamil Nadu Health Department, 20,95,757 samples have been tested so far in Tamil Nadu and 60,112 samples have been tested today alone.

Corona impact in Chennai:

The number of victims has risen to 89,561 so far today after 1,193 people in Chennai were confirmed to be infected with the corona.
