Corona death toll rises to new peak

1,989 people have been infected with coronavirus overnight. The total number of casualties has risen to 42,687. This includes 33 people from foreign lands and Tamil Nadu.
 
Death toll near 400:

At least 30 people died in Tamil Nadu overnight. The total number of casualties so far has risen to 397. Of the 30 people killed today, 26 are from Chennai and one each from Thiruvannamalai, Villupuram and Thanjavur districts.

1,362 people have been recovering from coronary illness in Tamil Nadu today. A total of 23,409 people have been healed so far. There are currently 18,878 people receiving treatment.

Districts other than Chennai are Chengalpattu 136, Thiruvallur 78, Thiruvannamalai 50, Thoothukudi 30, Kanchipuram 22, Tirunelveli 18, Madurai, Thiruvarur Tala 15, Vellore, Villupuram, Sivakangai Tala 13, Cuddalore 12, Kallakurichchi and Kanniyakkavur 9, Thilak 11 Corona was confirmed today in Tiruchi 6, Karur and Salem 5, Tenkasi 3, Dharmapuri, Perambalur, Ranipettai, Tiruppattur and Virudhunagar Nagapattinam district.
